Golfgrín á laugardegi 2019 (38)

Hér koma tveir á ensku:

Nr. 1

At New Zealand’s Rotorua Golf Club, the course includes such natural hazards as bubbling mud pools, quicksand and steaming geysers. That’s not to mention that the water hazards are hot and fast-flowing.

A visiting American tourist and golfer on the 12th hole came across a quicksand bog. Extending from it was a hand gesticulating wildly.

“Oh my,” said the golfer. “He must need a different club.”

Nr. 2

A couple of old guys were golfing when one said he was going to Dr. Taylor for a new set of dentures in the morning. His friend remarked that he had gone to the same dentist a few years prior.

“Is that so?” the first said. “Did he do a good job?”

“Well, I was on the course yesterday when the fellow on the ninth hole hooked a shot,” he said. “The ball must have been going 100 MPH when it hit me in the groin. That was the first time in two years my teeth didn’t hurt.”
