Today the 141st Open Championship started at Royal Lytham & St Annes, in Lancashire, England and of course the golfstruck Icelandic nation is glued infront of the TV following the latest achievements of her favorite stars. Golf is the 2nd most popular sport in Iceland.<\/p>\n
This morning the BBC played \u00a0an accoustic version of \u201eLittle Talks”, a song by the Icelandic band Of Monsters and Men while showing the latest results from the Open.<\/p>\n
Many here in Iceland were laughing about that Of Monsters and Men were Iceland\u00b4s only participants in the Open this year …. although we\u00b4re very much striving towards getting one of our young promising golfers there soon!<\/p>\n
