The tournament took place on January 25th-28th on the Ocean golfcourse in Nassau, Bahamas.<\/p>\n
\u00d3laf\u00eda \u00de\u00f3runn finished the last 6 holes which were left of her 2nd round, 4 under par and then finished the 3rd round 5 under par, 68 strokes.<\/p>\n
All in all \u00d3laf\u00eda \u00de\u00f3runn finished the Pure Silk tournament with a total of 1 under par, 218 strokes (77 73 68) and had a shared 26th place along with: Sweden\u00b4s Pernilla Lindberg, Mirim Lee from South-Korea and Solheim Cup players Charley Hull from Team Europe and Ryann O\u00b4Toole from Team US.<\/p>\n
\u00d3laf\u00eda \u00de\u00f3runn’s game continued to improve as the tournament progressed, in line with the improvement of weather, but there were strong winds in Nassau, this year so the tournament was shortened to a 54-hole tournament.<\/p>\n
Last year the Pure Silk was \u00d3laf\u00eda \u00de\u00f3runn\u00b4s first tournament on the LPGA and she made the cut and finished T-69.<\/p>\n
This year she played so much better, despite windy weather.<\/p>\n
For her good result \u00d3laf\u00eda \u00de\u00f3runn got a paycheck of $11,907.00.<\/p>\n
\u00d3laf\u00eda \u00de\u00f3runn\u00b4s teammate and friend from Wake Forest, Cheyenne Woods finished T-49, with a score of 2 over par, 221 strokes (79 72 70).<\/p>\n
